On this page we like to salute the Achievements of Women who have displayed courage in some way , not necessarily in an heroic fashion , sometimes  courage comes quietly , does it's work without praise or public notice.

Today we are proud to be able to acknowledge the courage displayed by one of our Clanswomen following an event which must have terrified her . 

Lynda O'Brien an experienced Herbologist ( Herbalist to the U.K. )  was glad of her knowledge and skills when her youngest daughter , Jasmine , aged only a tiny 4 years , suffered horrendous burns to 70% of her little body  from a gasoline explosion . The shock to both child and Mother must have been tremendous .

Lynda brought all her skills to the problem of healing this little girl's skin and pain.

She courageously  picked herself up and set to , she did not sit crying , she did not panic she went to work to help her child in the only way she knew .

In a way which Lynda herself calls being " very blessed "  she was able to use her Herbal knowledge to create a wonderful healing salve - see picture - to use on the little patient to help the grafted skin remain supple and elastic , an important factor in the recovery process .  Lynda  tells us that this salve has enabled Jasmine's skin to heal well enough to be able to forego 11, potentially painful , operations due to the  apparent power of healing contained within the cream.
