Greetings all on yet another cold wintery day this February 3rd . I popped in to give you some news items.
Firstly many warm greetings to our Clan sister , Anastasia our site's Clan Astrologist / Therapist down there in Southern England . Anastasia is recovering from a long and very serious operation on her spine with husband Graham caring for her wonderfully .
Anastasia was extremely brave in facing up to a shock diagnosis followed up by a swift call into Frenchay Specialist Hospital and into six hours of difficult , complicated surgery . It is with great relief and thanks that I report her gradual recovery is going well and we hope to have her regular Astrology and other subjects back in the site in early summer .

Now , a new Item for you - as you may know there has been much talk and decision making re; the Clan Foundation and it's new format etc: I am not privilege to all that BUT can tell you our website has been sent various News Items from James O'Neill O'Brien to enable those who may have missed reports of Fundraising gatherings with our Chief over in California during the last few years to read about some of it .
In order to be able to inform yourselves of activities in Clan Fundraising I have given a page to that special purpose . I make no comment of any kind other than to say it is good to be able to include the serious side of the Clan's matters for your attention and hope you enjoy this extra page .

CELTIC HEALING GARDENS - NEWS
On a more personal note : I have three children , now adults of course but still as dear to myself as when they were small and mischievous , as all Mum's will know and understand . It is so hard to see them struggle with serious matters as they become adults themselves with their own families.
I have two daughters and a son - born in the middle of the two girls .My youngest daughter is facing a battle with a very nasty modern day syndrome which is completely incapacitating a young and talented woman to an enormous degree. Julie is only 33 yrs of age , Mother to two boys , Corey 14 yrs and Ethan 11 yrs and was in a Catering Career working her way up the Management scale. Now she is unable to walk properly or do the things he once held dear, like activities with her boys, and her Art work , she is an excellent cartoonist. Julie has Hypermobility Syndrome - and allied conditions - of the Eds strain but because she was not diagnosed early enough nor was her treatment started early enough because of that , the thing has now mutated into a new strain apparently and it is not known what it is nor what it will / can do now and in her future . This is a devastating prospect for my girl and I am desperate to help ease her situation in some way . She is in constant pain , of varying levels , and has been told that the amount of painkillers she will need is 4,000 mg per day to give her any ease of the pain . Can you imagine the damage they would do to her body ? Julie tells me the only release from this pain is in warm sunshine .
Therefore I am doing the only thing I can - moving the site for the Celtic Healing Gardens to the Poitou Charente , South West France instead of Brittany . I will be Fundraising to help this Project and hope people in the Clan will feel able to buy our sales items in support of Julie , an O'Brien Grand-daughter , my daughter, whom I love dearly and ask your help for please - and I would not ask for myself but Julie needs help . Others will also be able to come for Healing in the sunshine once we have the property . I am learning how to Fundraise and am putting together a Business Package for the Bank . Friends are looking to see if we can form a Women's Co-operative venture , a Healing Co-op would be good .Any Therapists in the Clan may like to consider visiting sometimes , bring their Clients ?
I know that I have been a long time activating the Paypal link and uploading our sales items but as I was ill myself the site had to wait a while as I am the only one working on it you see . Hopefully all will be sorted soon and you will be able to see what I am up to ! Thank you for listening . Margaret .x
